A Godless Government is Our Demise

Godless is the most accurate word that I could think of to describe our hopeless, narcissistic government! Shockingly, I have to also include the DA in this conversation. At the very top of this evil cabal is the man himself- Cyril Ramaphosa. For almost 2 terms now, the ANC faithful has lied, giggled, performed and grovelled his way into popularity. Every decision that Ramaphosa makes is either to strengthen his position within the party or promote the Cadres in order to keep enjoying their favour. On the other hand, the once opposing figure of John Steenhuisen, who was known for his excellent verbal attacks on ANC leaders, has become a puppet on a string and nothing but a flailing, withering politician who is also near the end of his peak.

What these 2 men have in common, along with the current GNU, is an unwillingness to apply their logic, a relentless appetite to cling to power and a love for money and actualization at the cost of the taxpayer. Worse than this is their refusal to acknowledge that SA is primarily a Christian country, built upon the foundations of the Judeo-Christian belief system. The West has shaped our beautiful country, but Ramaphosa, his cohorts, and now, even Steenhuisen too, have deserted us and traded morality for popularity, Capitalism for Socialism, truth for ideology and justice for inequality. Our country is yearning for a godly, righteous leader who would put the people above his own selfish needs- a leader who wouldn’t lie on live television to try and secure a G20 summit, a leader who wouldn’t ignore Gender based violence until it became unbearable or deny farm murders as if it’s all a big joke, a leader who wouldn’t squirm at the magnificence of a Donald Trump…a leader who would honour the Springboks in stead of riding the wave of their success.

He might have a Colgate smile and an uncanny ability to charm, but Ramaphosa, along with big-talking Steenhuisen, needs to find some morality again- morality in the sense of not aligning with terror states. Morality to recognize that Apartheid was terrible, but it’s time to move on….Morality to cut the cabinet in half and stop the lavish spending…and to bring good old Christian values back into our schools. We have a godless, clueless GNU that will soon find itself on the rocks. South Africa, repent and lament!
