The Firs Brings the Whisky Experience to Rosebank this September

More than 30 whisky brands will gather at The Firs for an evening of tastings and discovery

Johannesburg, 4 September 2026:Whisky enthusiasts can discover exceptional pours, uncover new favourites and meet the people behind some of the world’s leading labels when The Firs in Rosebank hosts The Whisky Experience on Friday, 18 September 2026. Presented by The Firs in collaboration with Whisky Brother & Co, the intimate three-hour event will bring together more than 30 whisky brands for an evening of tastings, discovery and conversation from 6 to 9 PM.

Guests will be able to make their way between curated tasting stations throughout The Firs, sampling a diverse selection that ranges from premium and rare expressions to whiskies produced by independent craft distillers. Brand representatives will be on hand to share the stories, craftsmanship, and characteristics behind the different expressions, making the evening equally suited to seasoned whisky enthusiasts and those keen to learn more.

A Whisky Journey in the Heart of Rosebank

Whisky Brother & Co, which began as a passion-driven whisky blog in 2012, has since grown into an internationally recognised specialist retailer, event organiser and whisky community. Alongside the main Whisky Experience, invited guests will have access to an exclusive VIP Lounge in The Atrium, adjacent to The Grillhouse. Here, a specially curated collection of exceptional whisky expressions will be available to taste in a more intimate setting, complemented by light meals and hospitality.
