Radicalised UK Should Be a Warning to South Africa
Chaos in the streets of London has erupted as radical Islam has infiltrated the UK. Online video clips can be seen of aggressive antisemitic marches and how Christians are being forced to stop using the name of Jesus, or preaching, or even silently praying outside in public. Even people who have requested the prayer and the laying of hands on them for spiritual healing and intercepting have been discouraged by a ruthless police presence.
Isn’t it sad how freedom of speech and religion is being targeted in a supposedly first-world country, and how peaceful Jesus-followers are being persecuted and prosecuted around the globe today! Some are even being beheaded for their faith! How did the world become such a hostile, evil place? The Bible warns us about these days, and as much as I am flabbergasted about what we see happening, I am also not surprised anymore.
In Iran, children as young as 9 years old are being executed for resisting the IRGC- Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. Women are being treated like objects and cannot even be seen without wearing their hijabs. This has been instituted by the Iranian government since 1979, according to the ridiculous ‘hijab and chastity bill’. Penalties for not complying include fines, imprisonment or even death. This is beyond comprehension!
Thanks to Keir Starmer, a politician and lawyer who has been the prime minister of the UK and leader of the Labour party since 2020, the borders of the UK have become defenceless, allowing all sorts of criminality, anarchy and disorder to reign in their streets! If such leadership is allowed to flourish here in South Africa, could you imagine what chaos this would bring to our already fragile society? We already have many Nigerians and other foreigners who are currently enjoying free rein here on the local ground, with ra pe crimes, counterfeit products, illegal employment and drug trafficking flourishing.
The radicalisation of a society should not be allowed under any circumstances, and people should be free to wear what they want in public, as long as it’s decent, speak freely, practice their religious beliefs without fear and be allowed to have an opinion. All forms of socialism, Marxism, Communism and wokeness must be eradicated and dealt with! President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu have led from the front; now it’s time that South Africa follows suit!
