Netanyahu’s UN Address No Deflection

Prime Minister Netanyahu’s powerful message to the UN and all who hate Israel packed a huge punch! After reading Adiel Asmal’s take on what had transpired that day of September 26th, I again realized how misinformed the general public is.

People on the Left, who are generally supportive of the Pro-Palestine narrative, habitually use 3 main points in their arguments against Israel:

  1. “Genocide” – if we pick this apart, we see that despite what the UN or the ICJ says, if Israel wanted to commit a ‘Genocide’, why would it take them over 2 years, and the job is still not done? This means that they are horribly failing at their mission?
  2. “Apartheid” – this could not be further from the truth- in Israel, Muslims, Arabs, Druze and Christians can be seen participating in political affairs, as well as working side by side in hospitals and other essential sectors of society.
  3. Israel is ‘blocking humanitarian aid’ and ‘murdering journalists’ – this is probably the most ludicrous accusation of them all! Israel has delivered tons of food and aid to Gaza, even whilst the war was raging, and Hamas is continually putting its own people in harm’s way or allegedly shooting them if they try to take food from the piles of aid meant for the people of Gaza. After all, why should Israel feed its enemies?

Regarding reporters and UNRWA workers who operate in Gaza, there have been reports of several of these individuals having been caught taking part, in some way or another, in the atrocities of October 7th, 2023. Shocking revelations of ties between UNRWA, the UN and Hamas have surfaced; yet, these are the facts that are not being shared at all with the general public.

Adiel Asmal mentions in closing that “the world must not let rhetoric drown out reality…and that ‘words alone will not stop the bombs…'” How about the world and the UN start condemning Hamas for starting this mess on October 7th? Where is the accountability for this evil regime? Are they allowed to do whatever they please? Can you see the double standards here, sir? Which ‘reality’ are we talking about here? A reality of a highly radical ideology that wants to wipe Israel off the map, or even more seriously, a reality of a major PR war against Israel, which has gained traction for all the wrong reasons?

If the truth about the war in Gaza is not shared, it will create a very dangerous precedent- a one-sided view of a war between good and evil, between morality and slavery, between freedom and a sickening ideology. Islamo-Marxism is rife in the West, and it’s all by design. We must condemn the barbarism of Hamas and the radicalization of young Gazan children from a very early age, at all costs!
