We Are A Punching Bag Nation
South Africans are far too accommodating, if you ask me! On a daily basis, we have to dodge potholes and weave through the traffic whilst reckless taxi drivers come up with all sorts of illegal, innovative ways to skip the queues. We are getting hammered by ridiculously high electricity tariffs, and load shedding is now back to haunt our small to medium-enterprise businesses again.
Isn’t it funny how we fall for the lies every single time? If it’s not Cyril lying about his bullet trains and smart cities, it’s Steenhuisen who fails to act on another red line being crossed by the ANC! The people of this country are either very naive, too patient, or we just don’t care anymore! Which one is it? Our worst nightmares are coming true every day, as more and more radical ANC policies are being implemented, while the DA stands by idly and just accepts Ramaphosa’s doomsday legislation! Where has our fight gone? We are the true leaders of this country? The Mandela’s? The Thabo Mbeki’s? The PW Botha’s? We have a bunch of cadre-pleasing, tax-thieving, race-obsessed children running our country! And the ship is beginning to sink!
Initiatives such as Move One Million used to be a flickering light when it comes to the citizens standing up for what is right, but now, it seems, there are only 3 types of South Africans left- the ones who live in Capetown and whom still enjoy good service delivery, the rest of us who fight every day to keep our heads above water, and those who have already jumped ship! Where do you fit in?
Of course, there are the Cadres, the ANC big shots who don’t even know what load shedding, fuel increases, and economy class flights are—oblivious to the fact that our country is the most unequal, racist country in the world. These clowns are currently laughing the loudest, whilst we are left drowning in our tears and literally pinching our pennies! There is hardly one area where this disgusting government has not taken us for a ride or penalized us harshly, despite paying our taxes and trying so hard to earn an honest living! In fact, the more honest we try to be and to do the right thing, the more we get stabbed in the back! We are now a circus nation! The laughing stock of the world! Thanks to Naledi Pandor, we are severely cursed by God, for as it says in the Bible, “those who bless Israel shall be blessed, and those who curse Israel will be cursed”! When Jesus hung on the cross saying, “Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do,” it was a major reality check for those of us today who still try to live according to these words and to God’s promises to His people. It is said in the Word of God that we will have tough times in this world; well, it is very true! The price to pay to follow Christ in this world, in this country, today, is a very high price, and the road that Mandela walked was a testament to what was said in these Bible verses. He tried to unite us, to warn us, to heal our nation… but then came the most selfish, arrogant, ignorant ANC cadres and literally flipped the Apartheid script!
The audacity of Ramaphosa, Pandor, and Lamola to accuse Israel at the ICJ and the arrogance displayed towards Donald Trump in recent days is a sure indication that what we are dealing with here is a very dangerous animal! The ANC must be stopped at all costs! We are nothing but a punching bag nation! A bunch of tired, hopeless, helpless people trying to balance family life, paying bills, fighting against our corrupt, inept government, and reaping the fruits of what happens when the nation of Israel, God’s people, are wrongfully accused and cursed! It’s time for us citizens to rise up, gather together, and hold this evil ANC accountable!
