US State Department’s Findings Are Spot-On
In response to Saber Jazbhay (Human Rights lawyer, Newlands West), I have this to say: with which tainted glasses are you viewing human rights in South Africa, sir? Your letter makes mention of apartheid crimes, which, by the way, I also strongly condemn, but how long are we still going to cling to this rhetoric? At what point are you going to accept that most of us born after 1980, have very little to do with those crimes?
You arrogantly state in your letter that “the majority of thinking and patriotic people of SA firmly reject its findings”…which majority are you talking about? Certainly not us sober-minded, eyes-wide-open citizens? Such a statement deserves the utmost criticism, Mr Jazbhay! Please don’t speak on my behalf!
Furthermore, you mention our constitutional strength as if it is perfect and will never fail us – have you not been around to notice the politicization of our judiciary by the ANC and EFF cadres, sir? Our Chapter 9 institution has been plagued by individuals who were captured by ANC crooks such as Jacob Zuma, who weaponized the Public Protector to further his nefarious agendas, which left millions of South Africans in the dark, feeling hopeless and crying out for much-needed change! Of course, I am referring to Busisiwe Mkhwebane here. Let’s not pretend that she, or our National Prosecuting Authority, have ever served us in a way which brought about any justice! Not to mention our corrupt police!
The SAHRC has, likewise, done very little to ensure farm murders are made a priority crime, nor has it addressed our BBBEE laws, which are, at best, extremely racist in its very nature! You downplay farm attacks as if it is a very small issue, when, in fact, it has plagued us for decades now, with hundreds of farmers brutally murdered, tortured and attacked, in some instances without any theft of any goods – pure and utter barbaric murdering of a minority group!
Mr Jazbhay, you then go on to mention the work of the United Nations – are you aware of their alleged involvement in the Hamas attack on Israeli people on October 7th, 2023? I bet you are, but of course, you won’t say a word, for you know the truth- the disgusting complicity of an organization that is supposed to be unbiased but, instead, is furthering radical Islamic propaganda at the expense of Western civilization.
Lastly, singling out farm attacks “for political purposes”, as stated so incorrectly by you, goes against any and every human right, and the way you have put it here sounds like Afrikaner minority groups are over-exaggerating these attacks and have no right to be heard or protected! The food you eat every day, sir…the groceries you buy from Woolworths and Pick n Pay, all this fresh produce comes from the hands of our farmers, who basically feed you and your family on a daily basis! Please show some respect! We are indeed a “work in progress”, but its also time to move on from the apartheid playbook and start a new chapter! BBBEE must fall, and Expropriation without compensation must be called out and condemned! Let’s stop pretending that all is well in our country, because it isn’t! Our ties with the terror state Iran speak volumes!
