The World Is Obsessed With Israel
As a follower of the Israel-Hamas war since day one, and having listened to multiple debates around this extremely polarizing topic, I am now confident to say that I have been supporting the right side.
The World has strongly condemned Israel for the way in which it has taken apart, almost obliterated, Hamas and Hezbollah. From the pager attacks and stunning assassinations of Hanniyeh, Sinwar and Mohamed Deif, to name a few, to the incredibly brave US/Israel operation in Iran, where its proudly celebrated nuclear facility in Natanz was blown to pieces. The question remains: why is the World so obsessed with punishing Israel and holding it accountable at such a higher level than any other nation? This very valid question remains to be answered!
Listening to a very informative speech by Bridgette Gabriel, a Lebanese-American Conservative activist who strongly opposes Radical Islam, one couldn’t help but stand with mouth agape as she tore apart the atrocities of the ideology with some rather impressive Historical wisdom! I, for one, am fully aware that what Israel is doing in Gaza is extremely brutal, but what else must one expect when coming to know how audacious, arrogant and extremely evil Sharia law can be, the only perpetrators in this story for me are Iran and its proxies!
Gabriel reiterated how Islam only became as strong as it is today, since Ayatolla Khamenei took over in 1979, and of course, due to Iran’s richness in oil reserves. Yasser Arafat, who signed a 10-year peace agreement with Israel called the Oslo Accords, proved just how shrewd you have to be to be part of the Muslim-brotherhood; however, he was not an Islamist. This Treaty was supposed to last for 10 years, but in year 8, Arafat broke his promise. This, according to Bridgette Gabriel, is what Radical Islam calls the Treaty of Al Hudaybeja- a sort of Islamic code word or phrase which describes the ability to lie and deceive. I also learnt about the law of Taqiyya- concealing one’s belief and religious duties when under threat of death or injury. Imagine if in Christianity, one could summarily suspend your beliefs in a moment of weakness, to gain sympathy or dodge accountability….in fact, Christianity and the Bible teach the exact opposite!
It is for this reason that I believe that when the Bible says that ‘those who deny themselves and take up their cross, will surely live, and those who try to keep their lives, will surely lose it. The World is obsessed with accusing Israel, deligitimizing it, pressurizing it and ultimately shutting all Jews out of society. I am not a Jew, but I find this quite disturbing! Leave the Jews alone! All they want is to exist!
