Pietermaritzburg Mall Celebrates New Stores With Fun Shopper Campaign

Liberty Midlands Mall Hosts Shop, Play & Win Spend Campaign

Pietermaritzburg, 10 September 2024: In celebration of a host of exciting new and revamped stores, Liberty Midlands Mall is pulling out all the stops with a fun-filled shopper promotion. Titled Shop, Play & Win, the campaign is giving visitors to the popular mall even more reasons to enjoy their favourite stores, and visit new ones, by giving away over R 75 000 worth of prizes!

Pietermaritzburg shoppers can now enjoy a whole new world of chocolate at the Lindt Boutique Store, which has just opened its sweet doors in the mall. Numerous other stores have moved into shiny new spots, including an extended ToysRUS Toys R Us and Babies R Us (now extended to over 700 sqm), Smock & Stitch, and the Build-a-Bear pop-up kiosk. Milady’s, LEGiT, Tekkie Town and Burger King have all recently completed revamps, providing stunning new experiences for shoppers.

Midlands Mall shoppers can also look forward to UNIQ by Checkers and Levi’s soon opening, and the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) and Swarovski both moving to exciting new positions in the mall.

To stand in line to win a share of the prizes on offer, shoppers need to spend R300 or more at any store in the centre, write their details on the back of their till slip, and drop them in the competition entry boxes that have been placed around the mall. In this way, three winners will be randomly selected to each win a R5,000 Liberty Midlands Mall gift card at the end of the campaign.

On weekends, it gets even better. On Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 am a.m. to 3 pm, shoppers who have spent R300 or more will get one chance to play the “claw” machine and stand in line to win numerous gifts. There are 100 balls in the machine, some of which will yield amazing prizes. If one gets a “pick a prize” ball, they get to select one of the three mystery prize boxes to open, where any number of amazing items await!

These competitions run until 6 October 2024.
