Fake ‘ER Doctors’ Busted On Twitter For Spreading Fake Deaths From COVID, While Pushing Propaganda

Social media has become the bane of modern society, as it has created a world that does not exist. It has also made it easy to create fake accounts and spread misinformation in the 21st century.

As we have learned recently, two such accounts, belonging to a network of at least four fake accounts, touted their ties to the LGBTQ+ community, vocally advocated for mask-wearing and social distancing and dished out criticism to those they felt were not taking the pandemic seriously.

These accounts continued to share misinformation on deaths, which put people into a frenzy while their tweets garnered thousands of likes and retweets.

Joshua Gutterman Tranen, a self-described “gay writer” pursuing a master’s of fine arts at Bennington College, uncovered the fake doctors.

After 10 minutes of searching the net, Gutterman concluded that this account did not exist after finding the following stock image.

The irony here is, is that a liberal uncovered these fake accounts.

It was quite clear from the tweets, these accounts were part of a bigger effort to stoke fear over COVID-19

In the past two years, Twitter has played an important part in sharing information about many topics. Most times, many were de-platformed for sharing the truth about the pandemic, as important figures spread their propaganda, claiming the vaccines were “Safe and Effective”. Those pushing the vaccines, masks and social distancing were pushing the narrative as seen in this case above.

This begs the question. How many more were spreading this fake narrative?
