Cape Town: Parliament Building On Fire
A fire broke out in the early hours of this morning at South Africa’s parliamentary building in Cape Town.
Firefighters present at the scene say the fire had been raging on since as early as 5:30 am.
Early reports suggested the fire began in an office space on the 3rd floor and spread towards a gymnasium, Cape Town mayoral committee member Jean-Pierre Smith said.
