A Response to Yagyah Adams
Reading Yagyah Adam’s letter posted on Sept 23rd, it is clear there is an agenda that has been rearing its ugly head for quite some time now. Supporters of Palestinians, or shall I say Gazan Arabs who hate Jews, are using the ‘support for humanity’ as an excuse to scapegoat Israel, Trump and others, even after the atrocities of October 7th- a massacre which saw Hamas fighters appearing from underground tunnels, on bikes, committing unthinkable acts of human indecency.
Adam cleverly blames Jews, Arab leaders and Christians for the mess in Gaza, whilst maintaining his hateful view on Netanyahu and Trump- the two individuals he claims are responsible for all the deaths in Gaza. Where is the accountability for Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah and all Jew-hating individuals? I’m not even a Jew, but I detest the blatant victimhood mentality of the Palestinian supporters, who always seem to hold Trump and Israel responsible for this horrific war. But how can anyone demand accountability when glaringly obvious facts are put on the table regarding the immense evil, seemingly demonic actions by the Iranian axis of terror? It is well documented that Hamas wants to completely eradicate the Jews, and thereafter, the Christians.
Thousands of Christians are currently being slaughtered and beheaded, as we speak, in African countries and some in the Middle East. Where is the Global outcry about this? Why is Doomsday prophetess Greta Thunberg not jumping on some flotilla and sailing off to Syria or elsewhere, where Christians are being killed like seals? Where is the so-called ‘Humanity’, these pro-Palestine people are demanding from Trump and co? What has Mr Adams done to shed light on the many other religions that are being targeted right now, mainly Christians?
Adams equates Trump, Netanyahu and Arab leaders to the Pharaoh of the Bible-this is like trying to say that Hitler was like Mother Theresa, or Gandhi was a serial killer…it makes no sense at all! Since when is it a crime to resist terror? Since when does Israel need to ask permission to defend its sovereignty? This is madness! And the audacity of the South African government, that being Ramaphosa and Pandor, to want to hold Israel accountable, and demand that Israel release those who were intercepted or captured for crossing over into war-stricken territory by the Flotilla, to try to show off their so-called humanity, when humanitarian aid has already been supplied by the Israeli government into Gaza? What about the rampant crime and poverty here in SA, Cyril Ramaphosa? Once again, Nelson Mandela’s legacy and family members are used as a weapon to justify the ANC’s actions against Israel…..what a shame!
Mr Adams, you and the ANC government need to carefully rethink your stance on Israel, as the majority of South Africans are Christians, and Judeo-Christian values should be as important to protect as the plight of Gazan lives! After all, charity begins at home, Mr Adams!
